What can we do in a day?

Here’s a list of ideas that can typically be accomplished in a day…
A 1-3 page Squarespace website you’ll be proud of, including design and copyediting. Additional pages will need a longer intensive.
Basic Shopify set-up, including template selection and customization. Detailed Shopify sites will need a longer intensive.
A Shopify theme update, including theme selection and customization and potentially a short punch list of other updates.
A sales page or landing page that converts.
A mini Website Review with updates made the same day.
A punch list of updates. You bring the changes. we’ll get them done!
Copyediting of your website’s existing text and/or product descriptions.
SEO audit with updates to ensure your site and content are ready to be found by search engines.

Schedule a quick, 15-minute call to talk through your goals and make sure a Website Intensive will meet your needs. We’ll also talk about expectations to make sure you’re ready for your intensive!

Plan to allow at least 10 days prior to your project so that you have plenty of time to gather everything needed for your project (logo files, photos, completion of your Website Content Workbook, etc). We’ll make it simple and easy for you through our client portal with a handy checklist, instructions, workbook and Google Drive files.
A few days before your VIP day, we’ll have a kickoff strategy session to make sure we’re all set when your special day arrives!

Hurray! Your special day is here! Our whole schedule has been cleared just for you and we’re ready to focus all our attention on your project.
We’ll communicate throughout the day via email. You’ll want to make sure that you’ll be available to view proofs and for any questions that might arise.
Depending on your project scope, at the end of the day, we’ll hop on a call to go over any final edits, show you around your new site (if that’s what you chose for your day) and answer any questions you might have.

Don’t worry. We won’t leave you hanging. You’ll get up to 1 hour of additional updates within 7 days of your intensive.
We’ll also be available via email for support questions for 30 days. If you run into any questions or challenges, feel free to reach out!
This support does not include website changes or additional tasks, but we can definitely talk about whether a 1/2-day follow-up intensive might be a good fit.

We highly value quality, custom work. Our VIP Website Intensives are designed to accomplish as much as we possibly can in a day. That said, on your Discovery Call we’ll talk through your specific project and whether we think an additional 1/2 or full day would be helpful.
Also, hiccups can happen. So if we find that it doesn’t look like we’ll be able to get everything done in the estimated timeline, we’ll keep you informed and make sure to prioritize the tasks that are most important to you.

When you book your VIP Intensive, we’ll send you detailed prep-work that will walk you through everything we need for your project. It’s okay if you don’t have anything ready yet. That said…
Unless you’re hiring us to find stock photos for you, you’ll need to have your professional photos ready and uploaded to your client portal no later than 7 days prior to your project start date. So it’s a good idea to have already had your photos done before booking your intensive.

We’ll provide you with a website walkthrough at the end of your Intensive as well as 30 days of post-intensive email support during business hours.
COMING SOON! We’re also working on creating a library of training videos that you’ll have access to post-intensive so that you feel comfortable updating your own site.

We utilize Shopify for eCommerce sites and Squarespace for all other sites. We’ve found these to be the most intuitive and user-friendly options out there and our clients love how easy is for them to operate their own websites.

We’ll do our best to make sure this doesn’t happen, but if it does, you’ll have the option of booking another day or 1/2 day to finish up. The 1/2 day option is only available to those who have booked a full day intensive first.

We don’t promise deliverables because we want to ensure you have more control over the final results of our time together. You get our full day and we want to ensure you’re 100% satisfied. If we promised deliverables, we wouldn’t be able to take your feedback and changes into consideration and you could potentially end up with something that you’re not happy with. Your happiness with what we do deliver is more important than us setting specific deliverables that you might not love.
Also, we’ve structured your pre-work so that we ensure we have everything we need at my fingertips on the day of the intensive. The better you complete that pre-work and your availability to provide feedback on the day of the intensive will allow us to do more in less time.

You’ll get more details in your project contract, but essentially, you can reschedule your appointment up to one (1) time with 7 days’ written notice and up to 90 days from the first booked date.
